No, I'm lying... We were at the Sugar Shack (local pub) one day and after a beer frenzy someone suggested it would be cool to play rugby in a Hawaiian Shirt. We all violently agreed and after much discussion and far fetched ideas promptly forgot about it... In the following weeks the same discussion came up over and over again but unfortunately we were always too drunk to remember. Then one day we were approached by Vicky Bennett who manages the INVERCARGILL CIVIL SERVICE CLUB. She said "We would like to sponsor your Hawaiian Rugby Team". "What rugby team...?" "The one you told me about at the pub". Then it all came back and we excitedly realised that we had had a drunken idea and SOMEONE WANTED TO GIVE US MONEY FOR IT...!!! And this is where the story starts...
